This was the interior packaging artwork for Oceano's 2010 album, "Contagion". Keeping with the theme of corrupt agents in positions of power purposefully unleashing a virus onto the human race, this piece primarily dealt with the final goal of the contagion, depopulation.

As with the front cover for the album, I used a lot more color that I typically do as I was trying to give the piece a more "old school" vibe. The theme of the album and the lyrical content just seemed to really lend itself to such a style. Out of all of the paintings I have done recently, this one was probably the most fun to work on. I really got to let loose on the details and I had plenty of time work on it so hopefully that translated well into a cool viral zombie piece.
