In March of 2007, I saw a news post on Bloodbath's website looking for someone to do the artwork for their next mini-cd. Although it was unpaid work, as it was a contest, I felt confident that I could make an awesome death metal album cover, regardless of the concept. After getting the concept from the band, this is what I came up with. A year later I was notified that I had won. Even though I am a professional artist and typically don't do "fan" endeavors, this one worked out well for me as it has helped start my lifelong dream of doing heavy metal album covers.
