Life update!

It's been a busy year for me, though you probably wouldn't know it from this site.

For starters, I am proud to announce that my wife and I are expecting a little boy in November!
As you can imagine, this has affected the amount of clients that I have been working with. I have appreciated all of the inquiries that I have gotten lately, but I've had to make a decision to back off on a lot of these requests to properly make time for my wife and upcoming child. I have had to be very selective with what projects that I take on so that I don't overtax the time that I do have available.

All of that said, it doesn't mean that I haven't been doing art! In fact, I've been very busy with a lot of personal projects. For starters, I have been working on a lot of speedpainting. I've even created a new section to show these off. In one case, I even made a timelapse to show my process for one of these. You can watch it over on Youtube on my new channel. It's pretty barren at the moment, but I hope to do a lot more of these in the future.

On the cartoonier side, I've been updating my blog, "All-Consuming Hatred" a little bit more and have even been doing some work-for-hire in that style as well with a grind band out of Tacoma called "LB.!". Be sure to check them out! I'll be working with these guys a lot more in the future.

In a non-artistic way, I've even been writing a little bit. Over at Metal Band Art you can see an editorial that I wrote about how digital art is percieved in the heavy metal industry. I'll be writing more editorials and opinion pieces for MBA as time allows.

Finally, I do have a REALLY cool looking T-shirt coming up for Six Feet Under's summer North American tour with Decrepit Birth and Cannabis Corpse. I'll be updating that to the site soon!

I know the updates on this site have been a little sluggish, but it's mostly just because I update one thing (in this case, my facebook fan page) and just get lazy and forget to update my actual site. If you'd like to keep up with my work a little more regularly, please follow me here!

Thanks again for the continued support!
